2star review December 2022:Bad experience in last 3 delivery orders. Experienced Inconsistency in quantity and quality, received incorrect items, became fool with deceptive description of buy one get one items. I would not have ordered Butter chicken with Buy one Get one offer if I knew I was buying one chicken leg to get one back piece Free(!!!), total 2pieces, in a pool of gravy! Not worthy of the price at all. To add more, they sent something else instead of Old Delhi Biriyani with a Sorry note! I would rather be happy if they cancelled the order or called me to know if I would prefer it. Frustrated and going to stop ordering from TBC for a while.5 star review -September 2022:Ordered Butter chicken Combo and Fish Pakora (Fried fish) with Uber BOGO offer. We liked the Butter chicken for it was properly spicy and didn't taste bland at all. But disappointed to find Only 4 small chicken pieces served with a bowl of rice and gravy. To me, Chicken quantity was not enough compared to the rice portion and price of the dish. On the other hand, Fish pakora was juicy, fried perfectly. They know how to fry fish without making it dry- Very rare restaurants can do that, saying from my experience.Portion size is good for a BOGO offer, not for a regular order.

Missing items, the owner still went ahead & charged full amount & even listed on invoice, when called, he stated not delivering them. How about refund? He wanted me to chase Uber eats. This business is fraud, do not order anything in case you do, check the order & report them. I hope Surrey shutdown this business.Please avoid ordering any food, hardly any taste.Shame on owners like this that cheat customers for mere $3. Stay away from them, I do not need their refund. Rather expose these so others looking to place order are aware of them. I will be calling my credit card company & filing dispute for entire amount so they learn their lesson.City of Surrey should cancel their license & prevent this guy from starting another business.

This is not what you call Biryani, its so spicy, stale and tasteless. An awful experience ... Please refrain from this place.

I ordered the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani from the Biryani Chef, but what I received was far from satisfactory. The rice tasted like colored rice with no masala or dum cooking, and the chicken lacked flavor. It seemed like the rice and chicken were cooked separately and combined without proper seasoning. Additionally, the biryani did not resemble the advertised pictures, lacking the expected egg on top.Despite the buy 1 get 1 free" offer

I ordered hyd biryani and it comes with only one leg piece and burst rice. Was very disappointed with their food . Quality is very very poor. I suggest you to everyone please do not order from the biryani chief. They are just earning money with bad quality food

Taste was really bad, not returning back. It was just like boiled rice. Even buffets like Tandoori Flame tastes far better. I am surprised they even manage to get rating above 3. I guess I fell for the photos on their website.

I recently tried the biryani from this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the spices in the meat were just right. I especially loved the tender chicken pieces. The portion size was generous and it was great value for money. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend trying the biryani from here - it's definitely one of the best I've had in town!

Ordered online, this is for sure not biryani, just one piece of chicken with no flavour and some saffron rice with no other flavour. Where are the ingredients that a biryani should have. Disappointed

I recently had ordered from this restaurant seeing that it appeared to have impressive ratings, but my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the 5-star reviews are from employees, while genuine customers have given the place 1 to 3 stars. This is a clear misrepresentation of the restaurant's quality and can be considered a scam.I was extremely disappointed with the chicken curry that I ordered. At a hefty price of $15, I was appalled to find just one piece of chicken in the dish. To make matters worse, the chicken was of poor quality - it tasted like a frozen, real Canadian organic chicken that had not been cooked properly. The overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively.I would advise potential diners to be cautious when considering this establishment, as the glowing reviews may be misleading, and the food quality is far from satisfactory.
